Are you interested in a career in advertising? McCann Manchester’s Apprentice Scheme gives you the opportunity to kick start your career in marketing. Grab your chance to work with some of the country’s leading brands and creative superstars.

From social media to TV production and everything in the middle, namely project management and digital marketing we have apprentice roles available across all disciplines and have been running our apprentice scheme since 2011, so know a thing or two about what we are doing.

What do we look for?

Our Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 18 who shares our passion for Creativity. You must have a GCSE Grade 4/C in English (and Maths for the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship) and a desire to learn and develop a career in the area for which you are applying.

The only exception is that we are unfortunately unable to consider Graduates with degrees in Marketing, PR or Advertising disciplines. This is due to course overlap with the Level 3 NVQ’s our apprentices study.

What will you get from us?

At McCann Manchester we know that it takes great talent to create great work, so we are invested in the development of our people. As an Apprentice you will spend one day per week studying towards an NVQ relevant to your chosen discipline, but the learning doesn’t stop there. Our industry body, the IPA, has recognised us as a Platinum accredited Training Provider due to the investment we place in learning and development and you will benefit from both on the job coaching and regular training and development opportunities to broaden your skills. Whilst you will be joining in a specialist capacity, we will develop your knowledge of the full Marketing spectrum, to enable you to produce truly fame-driving work for your clients.

In addition to this we offer a work environment that is truly hard to beat. Our 8 acre campus in Cheshire is home to facilities including an outdoor pool (accessible at weekends), a pub, Bistro, Gym and beautiful scenery. And of course you’ll be earning while you learn, with a clear progression plan in place for when you complete your apprenticeship.
