Aldi and McCann UK’s popular 'Like Brands' campaign is returning to run in bursts.

Breaking on Tuesday 28 May on ITV, the TV spot runs in a 20-second format across ITV, Channel 4 and Sky channels and will also run on VOD. It is airing across a variety of programmes including Coronation Street, Britain’s Got Talent and First Dates.

The commercial compares Aldi’s own-brand sun lotion with a branded equivalent as part of an ongoing campaign promoting Aldi’s unique proposition of great price and quality.

Since its launch in 2011, the 'Like Brands' campaign has won more than 40 national and international creative and effectiveness awards and has played a key role in helping propel Aldi to becoming the UK’s fifth-largest grocer. It has reappeared periodically to pay homage to a variety of brands and popular culture events.
