Holiday Inn – Multi Lingual SEO

McCann Manchester was briefed to increase traffic to Holiday Inn’s Meetings website through a multi-lingual SEO campaign. This brief was given to the agency after it had designed and developed the site for rollout in the UK  initially followed by France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy,  The Middle East and Africa.

A multi-lingual SEO campaign was launched across these locations to support the sites. Working with the Holiday Inn client team, McCann international offices and a translation agency, McCann Manchester developed SEO friendly content based on the language and culture of each country. Keyword rich links were acquired from different countries to enhance  visibility in local search engines. Since the ongoing SEO programme went live,  the site has experienced a significant improvement in all key metrics.
