Our challenge was to increase stays and brand preference for Holiday Inn by promoting the brand’s sponsorship of London 2012 and the fact Holiday Inn was running the athletes’ village because of its commitment to exceptional customer service.

Customers who use Holiday Inn as one of a number of providers.

Approach

Leverage the brand’s existing “Stay You” creative platform and show how Holiday Inn allows Olympic athletes to relax and be themselves when staying at Holiday Inn. 

Olympic themed campaign starring athlete ambassadors delivered across TV, radio,  cinema, outdoor, online, VOD and social media.

Results

Double digit increase in intention to stay among core audience.

Brand trust up significantly and perception of great customer service up by a double digit percentage.
